After the engagement, often times the future bride’s mind turns quickly to the planning of the big event. So many plans have to be made: date of the wedding, location of the wedding and reception, flowers, bridal gown, who will be part of the bridal party, what the bridal party will wear and much more. While I was planning my wedding, I found one of the most, if not the most difficult decision was choosing what my bridesmaids would wear.
It was amazing how agreeable the matron of honor and the bridesmaids were when I asked if they would be in the bridal party. I remember much excitement, laughter and even “happy” tears, when I asked them this question. Quickly, this excitement turned to frustration and “unhappy” tears.
