Panasonic Lumix Tz4 Camera

By Jerry J. Jansen On March 2, 2010 No Comments

After the recorded success of the TZ1, TZ2 and TZ3, it was no surprise to customers when Panasonic rolled out its Lumix TZ4; an 8.1 megapixel camera which has been equally successful across all angles of the market. However, there are a number of things you should consider before deciding to jump into buying one for yourself or family.

Pros:

Like all the others in the series, Lumix TZ4 was designed to be a travel camera known for its very robust all-metal body which enables it to survive a number of bumps and bangs. If you’ve ever owned or held a TZ2 or TZ3, you’ll know that it (the TZ4) is actually a couple of millimetres (mm) smaller and few grams lighter which is quite significant in this term. To get a precise idea of its structure, it measures about 103.3 x 59.3 x 36.2 mm and weighs in at 208g empty or 234g including battery and memory card (pretty light isn’t it?).

In addition to all the above, the Panasonic Lumix TZ4 comes with an optically stabilized 28mm-280mm 10x zoom lens and the next-generation Venus Engine IV image processing – which they claim provides improved noise reduction, faster performance, and more responsive

Panasonic Lumix TZ3

When Panasonic first rolled out its first in the series of TZ (Travel Zoom) cameras its intention was to deliver a small camera with a big zoom as seen on other larger ones. It succeeded in capturing the minds of users and has since followed it with even better ones with extended features. This article will aim at reviewing the third in the series called Lumix TZ3. You’ll find just about every information you’ll need to get a hold of before you go ahead to make your purchase.

Pros:

As well as the new wide lens, Lumix TZ3 also upped the sensor resolution to 7.2 megapixels – over a million pixels more than its predecessor (TZ2 with 6 megapixels). In addition, it comes with an increased LCD screen size which complements the new features added. Initially, the big question in a number of enthusiasts’ mind was, ‘has Panasonic managed to improve some of the image quality issues that dogged the otherwise superbly capable TZ1?’

To answer that question, take a look at some of the other features you’d expect in the Lumix TZ3.

· 2.3 megapixel High Resolution 3.0-inch LCD
· Movies Capability – up to 840 x 480 pixels (WVGA)

Art and photography collectors find it easy to be drawn to digital pictures of wild animals, outdoor vistas, and other forms of nature. Why? Because a whole new level of collectible photography has been reached with digital photos , which results in high resolution images that can last for years, without losing any of the color .

The creativity of a photography can be reflected with digital photos in capturing a creature or landscape that looks real enough to touch, right down to the minutest features . Want proof? Just look at a photo of nature , one photographed digitally , and marvel at how it captures the tiniest details drawn from real life – to the lovely colors and small antennae on the wings of a butterfly to the beauty, tones and subtle shading of majestic landscapes .
